Description
A lovely stylized piece from the St. Justin Collection. The history of the Uffington White Horse is that of a highly stylized prehistoric hill figure, 110m long, cut into the turf to reveal the underlying white chalk of the land. The figure has been shown to date back some 3000 years, to the Bronze Age and is thought to be of tribal significance. This symbolic brooch replicates that of the Uffington Horse, a lovely accent for a cape, blazer, scarf or even for use as a stock pin!
Pewter, 2″ in length
Presented in a St. Justin gift Box.
