Helen Marioncu
Helen Marioncu is a professional illustrator, designer, educator and gallery painter. She holds an undergraduate degree from The Ontario College of Art & Design University majoring in illustration. Her style is painterly, colorful with an emotional undercurrent that is indicative of her training and practice in revealing subliminal narratives. An award winning career includes many significant editorial, advertising and publishing clients. Paintings and prints are collected by admirers of her work nationally and internationally. The Museum of Civilization, Ottawa acquired one of her paintings in 1989 for their personal collection.
Equine subject matter is a personal favorite. Insightful portrayal of the equine and the people who love them is honestly depicted through personal experience. The artist enjoys riding her home bred dressage horses on her family farm north of Toronto.
